Many of you have had the pleasure of traveling with Jason Chow. He has been a fantastic addition to the Brand g family, even if he lacks courage, given that he was terrified to do this interview because of some silly notion that I (Eric, the Director of Marketing) would ask inappropriate questions in an attempt to embarrass hIm.
The very thought!
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Toronto, well technically an hour north with corn fields and horse farms.
When did you know you were gay?
I was definitely a late bloomer. I thought I was bi around the age of 16 but didn’t really act on or come out as gay till I was 18. My first kiss with a guy was at 18.
How many boyfriends have you had, and do you have compromising photos?
I have had a few boyfriends but only a few serious ones, and I may or may not have compromising photos, and no, I do not have an Onlyfans.
What’s so great about living in Toronto?
I will always love Toronto, it’s a big city, but not quite as big as New York, it is incredibly diverse, and we have a large gay community. Also, one of the largest Prides in North America!
Tell us about your fabulous spouse/significant other, Greg.
I have been with my husband for 20 years and married for 17. He was a dancer/acrobat back in the day when we met but has since retired from that. He is from the French Alps, and he is definitely the better half!

How did you come to Brand g?
I had heard a lot about Brand g, and I had seen what type of travel they offered through their website. I randomly sent in a resume, and they just happened to be looking for someone to fill a role I was qualified for. I like to call it “Fate”!
Where did you work before Brand g?
I worked as a singer/dancer for many years in musicals, cruise ships and Disney. After retiring from that, I went into travel and have been in the “business” for multiple companies for over 16 years.
What are your duties at Brand g?
I work as the sales manager, and I help host tours and cruises throughout the year.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I honestly love meeting people, hearing their stories, where they came from, and what they have experienced. I’m constantly inspired by our guests, what they have accomplished and how they have given back to the community. Also, being able to see the world is always a nice perk of the job.

What’s been your favorite Brand g trip so far?
All of the tours I have done were incredible, as each city has something very special about it. I do have a soft spot for our Panama to Belize cruise, as I got to Snorkel with our guests. I will always be a water baby, and the ocean is my second home!
What was your most embarrassing Brand g moment so far?
I haven’t been with the company long enough to have too many embarrassing moments so far, but I guess being dragged up by Suddenly Seymour on stage to do a dance number that I have never seen. It was fun, though!
What is your favorite travel destination?
That’s too difficult to decide, but whenever I feel the need to ground myself, or center myself, Maui, Hawaii is where I go. Just standing in the waters of Hawaii makes me feel zen.

What would you be if you could be anything?
A dolphin. Yup that’s it.
What is your greatest extravagance?
I do love fashion, even though my everyday wear is more like a surfer or frat boy. I have a closet full of pieces I have collected through the years. I would scour through stores and websites for the perfect addition.
What is your greatest regret?
I don’t tend to like to live in regret. Every good and bad experience helps shape who I am today. If it was meant to be, then it was. I have been very lucky in life.
What one thing would you want people to know about you?
I love wildlife and animals. Every vacation, I try to add an element of wildlife to it. So it could be swimming with Whale Sharks, or Snorkeling with Turtles, visiting forests with Monkeys, or going to an Elephant Sanctuary. The more unique it is, the better!
