Exploring Basel on foot is a great way to see the city. Some highlights to visit are the Basel Münster (big church), town hall, market place, and the oldest hotel in Switzerland (3kings).

Basel has a limited LGBT + scene compared to Zurich. While there are no specifically “gay” bars, there are a few places that have LGBT+ nights.
Heimat
Heimat is a nightclub, bar, and restaurant that hosts LGBT nights on the 1st Saturday of every month. Although this is not an LGBT-only space, its fun vibes and great location to the center of Basel make for an awesome night.
