We are once again proud to welcome Alison Jiear, to the Brand g Entertainer family. Alison is thankfully taking a break from starring in Sister Act at the Dominion theatre in London’s West End to be here. Originating from Australia, after graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music she moved to London in the late 1980s and found fame as a member of The Fabulous Singlettes, an Australian girl group specializing in Motown songs. They starred in their own West End show, ‘Stop in the Name of Love’, recorded numerous television specials and supported Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey. Alison is a hugely popular cabaret, concert and an Olivier Award Best Actress nominee for her creation of Shawntel in Jerry Springer The Opera, a role she also played in the 2005 movie. This show gave Alison a world wide hit song, ‘I Just Wanna ******* Dance’.
Described as a singers’ singer, she delivers masterclass after masterclass. Alison has four solo albums Simply Alison Jiear; Forgiveness Embrace; In Your Eyes: Live at Pizza on the Park and Inspirational with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Her latest album Baby I’m a Fool is a joyous collaboration with her trumpet player partner Adam Linsley and is available on iTunes HERE
We are delighted to have Clive back on board as he is one of the busiest men in the music business and his wonderful MD and piano playing skills are sought after by many an orchestra and artist. Clive is always producing, composing and arranging when he is not playing live. He will be playing solo and accompanying Meghan in her solo shows. He has a notable collection of albums Notable Impressions, Vortex and Sings, Strings & Tings available from his website HERE
Lee hails from a Welsh musical family and became a cabaret artiste in South Wales touring to sell out gigs. He is a captivating and multitalented singer and performer with an authentic and rich voice. Annoyingly, Lee has many other skills and aside from singing can been seen treading the boards acting, often in Welsh, and can offer a mean sports massage. His albums Take me as I am and All of me are available for download HERE.
Lee is delighted to be hosting this trip but also giving everyone a taste of his vocal genius.
